Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter – To Be Adapted Into Live Action Movie
Posted in Lulz | News on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010 by Rob Heath | CommentsAbraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is the latest book by Seth Grahame-Smith, whom previous works include Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. So Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter JUST came out today (March 2nd), and already there are plans to adapt it into a live action movie. Attached to the project is Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted). No other details on what exactly Tim and Timur (haha, Timur is like the Russian version of Tim) will be doing for the project. My guess is Tim Burton will produce while Timur Bekmambetov directs.
If the movie is anything like the promotional trailer above that is used to serve the book, I am in. Just make sure you get Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln. I would like to see a behind the scenes featurette of Lewis in totally serious method actor mode as he pretends to be a dead president who hunts vampires.
